The first full-length trailer for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three has been released and it teases what looks to be a high-stakes finale to this animated trilogy (and the Tomorrowverse as we know it).
With the Anti-Monitor on the loose, a whole host of heroes assemble to save the Multiverse, but it looks like that will be easier said than done when they also have Lex Luthor to contend with. Several other villains are also spotted, including The Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face.
In terms of cameos, the trailer ends with another Batman: The Animated Series tease. Batman Beyond also appears, but perhaps the biggest surprise comes when we return to the world of the Super Friends!
The Saturday morning cartoon aired between 1973 and 1985 on ABC and was produced by Hanna-Barbera. That classic animation style returns here and we're hoping the movie has even more surprises in store for us.
While we still don't have a release date for the final Crisis on Infinite Earths movie, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released a synopsis:
Now fully revealed as the ultimate threat to existence, the Anti-Monitor wages an unrelenting attack on the surviving Earths that struggle for survival in a pocket universe. One by one, these worlds and all their inhabitants are vaporized! On the planets that remain, even time itself is shattered, and heroes from the past join the Justice League and their rag-tag allies against the epitome of evil. But as they make their last stand, will the sacrifice of the superheroes be enough to save us all?
Part Three's cast reportedly includes Corey Stoll as Lex Luthor, Brian Bloom as Adam Strange, Elysia Rotaru as Black Canary, Armen Taylor as Jay Garrick, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams as Cheetah, Dean Winters as Captain Storm, Jason Spisak as Blue Lantern Razer, Brett Halton as Captain Atom, Ashly Burch as Queen Mera, and Katee Sackhoff as Poison Ivy.
Most of the actors from the first two instalments are likely also making their returns. That should include Jensen Ackles as Batman, Darren Criss as Superman, Meg Donnelly as Supergirl, and Stana Katic as Wonder Woman.
It's also been rumoured that the late Kevin Conroy lent his voice to the Dark Knight one final time for a clash with Mark Hamill's Joker.
