Sony Pictures Entertainment has released (via ComicBookMovie.com) some official photos from the set of  their upcoming sequel to 2017's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle - which itself was somewhat of a reboot of the 1995 fim Jumanji.

Like its predecessor, Jumanji: The Next Level sees a band of high school teens warped into the wilderness of a video game world — but this time they inadvertantly bring a couple of pensioners in with them.

The following is an official synopsis: "In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world’s most dangerous game."

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Nick Jonas are all back and reprising their roles from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. The upcoming sequel will introduce Danny Glover, Danny DeVito, and Awkwafina to the film's cast.
