Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle released in 2017 and rebooted the
Jumanji franchise - which originally began in 1995 with a fantasy adventure film that starred Robin Williams. The new version features Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Nick Jonas, and focuses on a video game rather than a board game.
With the film having proved itself to be a hit with audiences, Sony have been working on a sequel. We'll get our first look at that sequel in the coming days with arrival of the film's first trailer. That is, according to a recent leak by
Alberta Film Ratings (via
Gamefragger).
The ratings board site has revealed that the title of the upcoming sequel will be
Jumanji: The Next Level. Its first trailer will be 2:30 minutes and release online ahead of its theatrical debut before
Spider-Man: Far From Home. That Marvel movie releases on July 2nd, therefore the trailer should be with us before then.
