Since the worldwide success of the Chinese animated film Ne Zha, the world has seen the quality of animation that the country can bring to the genre and its carefully crafted heartfelt stories with lessons that can be implemented in everyone's lives. Building off the universe created in the first film, its sequel, Jiang Ziya: Legend of Deification, looks to be continuing this trend.
Simply titled Jiang Ziya in the west, the film follows a warrior tasked with destroying a demon fox, but when the fox is, in fact, personified as just a child, the question is raised of what is more important; the life of a child or the lives of hundreds? The film's vibrant set pieces and stunning action have made it highly desired not just in the east but the west as well.
It has recently been revealed that Well Go USA will be distributing the film in the west starting today! With a new subtitled trailer for fans, it's finally time to see the next installment in the Fengsheng Cinematic Universe.
