As
revealed last month, the home release of
Incredibles 2 will feature a new short film focused on Edna Mode and baby Jack-Jack. Specifically, the short, titled "Auntie Edna," will give fans a look at what went down while she was babysitting Jack-Jack.
If you recall from the film, Bob - who was overwhelmed by Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers - sought the help of Edna to help control him. Although she was initially reluctant to babysit Jack-Jack, she quickly developed a strong liking for the baby and offered to babysit for free, while also designing and customizing a super suit for him that would help control his many powers.
The new short teases this process, and in the clip below you can see Jack-Jack model the new suit while Edna takes great pleasure in watching him walk the imaginary runway in her design.
Everyone's favorite family of superheroes is back in "Incredibles 2"-but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life. It's a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again-which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible.
Incredibles 2 will be released on Digital on October 23 and Blu-Ray on November 6.
