The 91st annual Academy Awards is still months away, but the Academy has just released the list of animated feature films that have been submitted for consideration in the Animated Feature Film category.

The actual Oscar nominees won't be announced until early next year, but the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has already revealed the 25 animated features submitted for consideration in this year’s Oscar race.

Among the most notable films featured on the list include Pixar's box office hit Incredibles 2 and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. Other films submitted for consideration include upcoming blockbusters like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Ralph Breaks the Internet.


The nominees for the Animated Feature Film category will be officially unveiled on January 22, 2019, and the 91st annual Academy Awards will be held on February 24, 2019.
