INCREDIBLES 2 & HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION Are Among 2018's Highest-Grossing Films
Among the top fifteen highest-grossing films of 2018 thus far are two of the year's biggest animated films; Incredibles 2 and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation.
A recent report by Screen Rant went through the year's most financially successful films - the fifteen highest-grossing films specifically - and among them are two of the year's most notable animated films.
Hotel Transylvania 3 brought in a massive $518M at the number twelve spot. That's not too shabby, but it is dwarfed by $1.23B that Incredibles 2 accumulated and thereby became the fourth highest-grossing film of the year.
The long-awaited sequel to The Incredibles is of course the highest-grossing animated film of all-time so it makes sense that it made the top five. It was only beat out by the typical Marvel and Jurassic Park films - the fact the Incredibles 2 is even near the gross of those hulking, franchise films is certainly impressive.
