How The Grinch Stole Christmas is often sighted as the best portrayal of the character so far. Illumination Entertainment, best known for the
Despicable Me and
Minions films, has provided a peek into what their interpretation of the character will be.
Voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch, the trailer reveals the Grinch and his dog Max living an isolated existence from the people of Who-ville. With Christmas about to start, the Grinch and Max set out to disrupt the festivities.
The film is directed by Scott Mosier and Yarrow Cheney.
