From the stop-motion animation studio behind Kubo and the Two Strings, ParaNorman, and Coraline comes their newest feature film: Missing Link.

In this brand new trailer, for the impressively animated film, Hugh Jackman features as adventurer Sir Lionel Frost who comes across the titular myth - who's played by Zack Galifianakis. And yes, though it may be hard to believe, the film is entirely stop-motion, claymation, yet as usual Laika's talents make it as seamless as regular ol' animation.

Check out the Missing Link's first trailer below:

Alongside Jackman (Logan, The Greatest Showman)and Galifianakis (The Hangover, The LEGO Batman Movie); Missing Link also stars Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy, Avatar), Emma Thompson, Stephen Fry, David Walliams and Matt Lucas.

Below is the Missing Link's synopsis:

The charismatic Sir Lionel Frost considers himself to be the world's foremost investigator of myths and monsters. Trouble is, none of his small-minded, high-society peers seems to recognize this. Hoping to finally gain acceptance from these fellow adventurers, Sir Lionel travels to the Pacific Northwest to prove the existence of a legendary creature known as the missing link.

What do you think of the trailer? Are you looking forward to Missing Link?

Missing Link is set to arrive in theatres on April 12th, 2019.
