It's been five years since the first Frozen movie, and we've got another year's wait until the next one. Fans are eager to see what's next for Elsa, Anna, and the gang so we're sure they'll be happy to know that the release date has been moved up by about a week.

The highly-anticipated sequel was originally set to release on November 27th, 2019 but according to a recent report by Variety; Frozen 2 will be with us on November 22nd, 2019.

Frozen was a massive success back when it released in 2013. It won two Academy Awards, one for "Best Animated Feature" and another for "Best Original Song" - that of course being "Let it Go!" To this day, Frozen holds the top spot for "Highest Grossing Animated Film".

The film features the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Santino Fontana. The sequel is set to introduce Westworld's Evan Rachel Wood and This is Us' Sterling K. Brown as new characters.

What are your thoughts on the release date change? Are you looking forward to Frozen 2?

Frozen 2 is set to arrive in theatres on November 22nd, 2019.
