Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new trailer for
Frozen 2. The new trailer reveals a bit more about the sequel’s plot, but still offers plenty of intrigue and mystery as Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven set off on a magical new adventure.
Over the past few months, we’ve heard much about the enchanted forest featured in the film, and it figures to be the key to unlocking the mystery of Elsa’s powers.
Frozen 2 looks raise the stakes as well, with all sorts of action moments teased.
Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.
Frozen 2 is directed by the Academy Award-winning team of Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck with songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), and Josh Gad (Olaf) are all returning.
