In just a few days, Frozen 2 will hit theaters and fans will journey with Elsa, Anna and the rest of the gang beyond Arendelle and into the unknown. Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a new featurette, "Beyond Arendelle," which is packed with brand new clips from the highly anticipated sequel.

"To say that this movie is ambitious is a big understatement," says Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf. The cast joins in explains the overall synopsis of Frozen 2, which takes us on a journey beyond the walls of Arendelle when Elsa hears a mysterious voice calling to her.

"On that journey, they uncover some deep secrets about their past and she knows she needs to find those answers," Idina Menzel says of her character, Elsa.

On this journey, we'll meet some brand new characters, including Lt. Mattias, played by Sterling K. Brown. "He's a soldier. He's a protector. He's fiercly loyal to Arendelle," Brown says of his character.

The featurette is filled with tons of exciting new scenes and clips that we're seeing for the first time ever, while the cast discusses this big adventure. "The overall takeaway is this beautiful notion that you can learn from the past and make the future better," Kristen Bell sums up.

Check out the featurette below.

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.

Frozen 2 arrives in theaters on Friday, November 22.
