Disney has released a second trailer for Frozen 2, this time offering a bit more context for the upcoming sequel. Continuing the more mature and darker tones of the teaser, the official Frozen 2 trailer reveals the catalyst behind the Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf's next magical adventure.

While still keeping the film's biggest mysteries a secret, it seems our heroes will head north, into the unknown, as they attempt to discover the truth about their past and why Elsa was gifted with such magical powers. Once considered too powerful for this world, it seems Elsa's powers are the only hope against a dangerous force threatening the kingdom.

Frozen 2 is shaping up to be a remarkable sequel to 2013's blockbuster. Check out the trailer below.

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.

Despite the trailer revealing the overall plot of Frozen 2, there's still so much mystery left to be discovered. Frozen 2 arrives in theaters on November 22, 2019. What did you think of the trailer?
