Warner Bros. Animation has released a still from their upcoming animated movie based on Mark Millar's acclaimed
Superman: Red Son comic book. The story imagines what would have occured if Kal-El had crash landed in the midst of the Soviet Union rather than Kansas.
Superman: Red Son will be directed by Sam Liu (
Justice League vs. The Fatal Five,
Reign of the Supermen) and executive produced by Bruce Timm and Sam Register. As well as our first look at the animated film itself, which you can see above, the voice cast of
Superman: Red Son has been revealed (via
TV Insider).
Jason Isaacs (
Star Trek: Discovery) will play Superman, Amy Acker (
The Gifted) will play Lois Lane, Diedrich Bader (
Batman: The Brave and the Bold) will play Lex Luthor, Vanessa Marshall (
Star Wars Rebels) will play Wonder Woman, Phil Morris (
Doom Patrol) will play James Olsen, Paul Williams (
Goliath) will play Brainiac.
The cast also include the following actors: Sasha Roiz (
Grimm) will play Hal Jordan, Phil LaMarr (
Supergirl) will play John Stewart, Roger Craig Smith (
Batman Ninja) will play Batman, Jim Meskimen (
Constantine: City of Demons) will play John F. Kennedy and Travis Willingham (
Batman: Bad Blood) will play Superior Man.
Superman: Red Son will be released digitally and on Blu-ray in 2020.
