Due To Reports That LeBron James Would Be Dropping The SPACE JAM 2 Trailer He Elected Against Doing So
It was reported, due to a leak, that LeBron James would be dropping the trailer for the sequel to Space Jam during his NBA free agency announcement - that was evidently not the case. Find out why...
Due to many reports it was believed that LeBron James would release the first teaser trailer for Space Jam 2 during his NBA free agency announcement - evidently that was not the case.
James did however announce that he would be playing with the Lakers next season, signing a 4-year, $154 million contract but didn't once reference the Space Jam sequel - to the dismay of anticipating fans.
According to a recent report by Basketball Society, who were first to reveal an incling of the trailer last week, James decided not to drop the trailer ironically on account of it being reported on in the first place.
The recent report went on to explain that the trailer was supposed to be released on the Instagram TV via Uninterrupted (James' media company). Based on a description of the footage it sounds as if it was designed to be timely - in accordance with James' announcement. Near the end of the trailer, it's said that James would arrive in his Lakers gear - which would serve as the announcement of his move to Los Angeles.
So unfortunately the announcement wasn't as interesting as once thought. Hopefully we'll get an legitimate trailer release at some point in the near future.
What do you think about James' decision to cancel the trailer's release?
