Pixar's
The Incredibles 2 is ready to burst into theaters and ahead of its debut, we have two brand new clips from the highly animated sequel.
In the first clip, a tired, worn down Bob Parr (aka Mr. Incredible), tasked with managing the day-to-day "normal" life at home with the kids gives Edna the rundown of how he's failing at his new role. "I broke my daughter. They keep changing math. We needed AA batteries, but I got AAA," and so on and so on. It's funny, yet sad at the same time - and I'm sure just about everyone can relate to his situation. And if you don't have kids and wondering why Bob is so tired,
perhaps this clip will give you a better idea.
The second clip provides the reasoning that Bob is at home with the kids while Helen (Elastigirl) is out fighting crime and leading the campaign to bring Supers back. It's just a glimpse of the movie but provides some context for the film.
In “Incredibles 2,” Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
Incredibles 2 hits theaters June 15.
