After Spider-Man: No Way Home united Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield's respective Peter Parker Variants on screen, the hope was that we might see one or all of them in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
While the animated sequel featured live-action cameos from Donald Glover's Prowler and the Venom franchise's Mrs. Chen, there was no sign of Holland and both Maguire and Garfield only appeared through the use of archival footage.
With Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse now available on Digital platforms, a second Maguire cameo has been spotted (the other showed him mourning his Uncle Ben).
This one, on the other hand, showcases a key moment from Spider-Man 3 which saw Peter tear off the Venom symbiote. The scene takes place when Miguel O'Hara explains the canon events in the lives of every Spider-Hero, with an encounter with this alien suit now confirmed to be among them.
With any luck, that's something we'll see more of in this animated franchise and the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
