Detective Pikachu will be released into theatres in just over a month. For the first time in the popular franchise's history, the iconic Pokemon monsters will be brought into the realm of live-action through the use of incredibly realistic computer-generated-imagery.

DiscussingFilm recently got their hands on a new International poster for Detective Pikachu shared it on social-media (@DiscussingFilm). Emblazoned on the colourful promo are a plethora of fan-favourite Pokemon creatures - fourteen to be specific - but, of course, nowhere near the amount that the film itself will contain.

I can personally name ten of the fourteen (which I'd say is a decent score for a Pokemon novice), how about you? As well as the Pokemon, this Chinese poster also features Tim Goodman and Lucy Stevens, the film's human leads, who will be played by Justice Smith and Kathryn Newton respectively.

Check it out...

Detective Pikachu is set to arrive in theatres on May 10th, 2019.
