Cartoon Network's Teen Titans are back!.. kind of. The original Teen Titans animated series ran from 2003 to 2006 on the afformentioned network and became somewhat of a cult classic. Even now, thirteen years later, people are urging DC and Warner Bros. to bring it back.

Tara Strong, the voice actress of Raven, stated that if the recent Teen Titans Go! To The Movies animated film proved to be a success, Warner Bros. would consider bringing back the original Titans. This may well have been what she was referring to as the first official trailer for Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans has arrived and pits the modern and irreverent version of the titular team against the more serious iteration.

Official synopsis below:

"In TEEN TITANS GO! vs TEEN TITANS, villains from each of their universe join forces to pit the Titan teams against each other. They'll need to set aside their differences and work together to combat Trigon, Hexagon, and Santa to save the multiverse."

Interestingly, you'll notice near the end of the trailer that the two afformentioned iterations of the Titans aren't the only versions of the team that will feature in the film. Check it out below (via IGN):
