Dark Horse Comics have announced that they are collaborating with Pixar to produce a graphic novel anthology which ties into Toy Story. The novel will serve as a companion to Toy Story 4 ahead of its release in June of next year. The anthology will release on May 7th, 2019, and it will cost $10.99.
Haden Blackman is attached as writer and is described by Dark Horse as bringing "fun, energy, and heart to this graphic novel that features the toys you know and love - and introduces some new toys, too!"
Though the focus of the story hasn't been revealed, we'll likely either see a return of the ol' classic toys (like Buzz, Woody, Jessie, etc.) and/or something to do with the new characters that Toy Story 4 will be introducing (Forky, Ducky, and Bunny).
