In less than a week,
Sonic the Hedgehog arrives in theatres for the first time in his very own live-action feature film. Ben Schwartz serves as the voice of the titular speedster while Jim Carrey plays Dr. Robotnik and James Marsden plays Tom Wachowski. Jeff Fowler serves as director and cast also includes Tika Sumpter.
A plethora of clips, stills, and TV spots have been released as of late in promotion of the impending release. Paramount Pictures has now allowed a behind-the-scenes featurette for the upcoming video game movie to surface online (via
Mayhem Mendes).
This featurette allows us new looks at shots that have previously featured in trailers and whanot as well as glimpses at new moments and footage. Schwartz, Carrey, and Marsden are also present in the featurette and explain the significance of their characters as well as what's so exciting and special about the
Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
