Warner Bros. Entertainment has announced the digital and blu-ray release of Catwoman: Hunted. The latest animated film was developed and produced in an anime style under the direction of Shinsuke Terasawa and written by Greg Weisman (producer of Young Justice and creator of Gargoyles and The Spectacular Spider-Man).
Catwoman: Hunted focuses on Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, as she risks her life in attempt to steal a priceless jewel. But she'll have to tread lightly if she hopes to secure the world's most valuable emerald as Batwoman and Interpol try to spoil her fun. Making matters more difficult for the nefarious feline is the involvement of global crime junggernaut Leviathan.
In celebration of the film's release, Warner Bros. has shared an exclusive clip. In it, Catwoman has finally entered the vault where teh Cat Eye's emerald is being stored. But she'll need to rely on her resourcefulness to get by the state-of-the-art security system guarding it.
Selina Kyle/Catwoman is voiced by Elizabeth Gillies (Dynasty, Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll). She's joined by Stephanie Beatriz as Batwoman, Jonathan Banks as Black Mask, Steve Blum as Solomon Grundy, Lauren Cohen as Julia pennyworth, Keith David as Tobias Whale, Zehra Fazal as Talia al Ghul, Jonathan Frakes as King Faraday and Boss Moxie, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Barbara Minerva/Cheetah.
In the all-new original Catwoman: Hunted, Catwoman’s attempt to steal a priceless jewel puts her squarely in the crosshairs of both a powerful consortium of villains and the ever-resourceful Interpol, not to mention Batwoman. It might just be enough to contain her. Or not.
