A brand new still from Paramount's upcoming Transformers spinoff-prequel Bumblebee continues to push the notion that the film will be more intimate and heartwarming that previous bombastic instalments.

Though the earlier Transformers films did in-fact feature a pup or two of Sam Witwicky's family, they were totally inconsequential, whereas in Bumblebee we'll at least get a few laughs out of Charlie's adorable Jack Russell Terrier.

Travis Knight, the film's director, teased in a recent issue of Empire: “When Bumblebee encounters this creature, he tries to figure out how to communicate with him," Knight further explains, "Him just trying to exist in a normal human domicile does not go very well.”
