If you've kept up with the news surrounding Disney's upcoming remake of The Lion King, you'll know that it will star both Donald Glover and Beyoncé as Simba and Nala respectively. The two are arguably two of the most popular vocalists in the music industry - Glover going by the alter ego: Childish Gambino - so they're a natural fit for a musical.

A newly released TV spot features the pair of musicians singing "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" together. This song featured in the original version of The Lion King, however, it was performed by Elton John. This is the first time we've heard Glover and Beyoncé performing for the upcoming remake - in fact, it's the first time Glover's voice has been in any of the marketing material.

While the original version is iconic, this new version is just as romantic and enchanting. Check out the new TV spot (via @BeyLegion)below:

While Glover and Beyoncé are the stars of the film; the voice cast also features the likes of: Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Chiwetel Ejiofor, John Oliver, Alfre Woodard, John Kani, Keegan-Michael Key, Amy Sedaris, and James Earl Jones.

Director Jon Favreau’s all-new “The Lion King” journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his. The all-star cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon.

Disney's live-action remake of The Lion King is set to arrive in theaters on July 19th, 2019.
