Warner Bros. Pictures has shared a first look at 2x Academy Award-nominee Ryan Gosling (The Gray Man; Blade Runner 2049) as Ken in Greta Gerwig's upcoming Barbie

He'll co-star opposite 2x Academy Award-nominated actress Margot Robbie (Birds of PreyThe Suicide Squad), who is headlining the piece as the titular doll.

While plot details are being mostly kept under wraps, the film will reportedly feature multiple Barbies and Kens, which should result in plenty of fun scenarios.

The film will feature quite a supporting cast, consisting of America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Issa Rae, Michael Cera, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Ncuti Gatwa, Emerald Fennell, Hari Nef, Sharon Rooney, Scott Evans, Ana Cruz Kayne, Connor Swindells, Ritu Arya, and Jamie Demetriou.

Robbie has one of the more exciting upcoming lineups in recent memory, as in addition to Barbie in 2023, she'll be seen in David O. Russell's Amsterdam and Damien Chazelle's Babylon later this year and is also currently filming Wes Anderson's Asteroid City, which should be due out sometime next year.

Meanwhile, Gosling returns after a four-year hiatus this summer with Netflix's hotly-awaited actioner The Gray Man, which was helmed by The Russo Brothers and co-stars Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, and Dhanush, amongst others.

Barbie hits theaters on July 21, 2023.
