Walt Disney Studios continued its promotional campaign for Aladdin, releasing the second TV spot for the highly anticiapted movie this week.

Whereas the "Connection" spot centered on the love story between Aladdin and Princess Jasmine, the latest is focused more on the overall adventure — particularly Aladdin's "rag to wishes" story as he's sent into the Cave of Wonders to recover the magical lamp.

Now anyone familiar with Disney's original 1992 animated classic already knows the story of Aladdin, and director Guy Ritchie appears to be staying true to the overall premise. However, the director is also looking to put his own stamp on the story of Aladdin with vibrant visuals, spectacular set pieces, and some thrilling moments. All of that, and more, is briefly showcased in Disney's newest spot below.

A thrilling and vibrant live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic, “Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. Directed by Guy Ritchie, who brings his singular flair for fast-paced, visceral action to the fictitious port city of Agrabah, “Aladdin” is written by John August and Ritchie based on Disney’s “Aladdin.” The film stars Will Smith as the Genie; Mena Massoud as Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar; Navid Negahban as the Sultan; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia and Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders.

Aladdin flies into theaters on May 24.
