Aardman Animation first sent their iconic claymation character of
Shaun the Sheep onto the big screen in 2016 with the first
Shaun the Sheep Movie. To this day, that film has maintained a 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Impressive but sets up some high expectations for the upcoming sequel.
A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon will literally be taking the franchise out of this world for the first time. It'll introduce a new character by the name of LU-LA who's an extraterrestrial with magical abilites. Her spaceship is contained by some nefarious organisation, so she needs help to get it back in order to ultimately head home - that's where Shaun and the gang come into play.
The stop-motion animation studio have released a brand new trailer for the upcoming sequel as well as a synopsis and poster (via

Shaun the Sheep’s highly anticipated return to the big screen will herald the arrival of a mystery visitor from far across the galaxy.
