Even though the series has only released one episode so far, Marvel Studios' groundbreaking new animation is all the rage on the internet. With the marketing and press full steam ahead, many of the questions that audiences have been slowly being answered, even if they have nothing to do with the plot whatsoever.

What If...?, a series confirmed to be canon in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe Multiverse, features familiar events from the films but with a unique twist, such as Episode 1 seeing Peggy Carter become Captain Carter in place of Steve Rogers.

It has been revealed that What If...? is far from the only animation that is planned to be MCU canon on Disney+, and in addition to a second season, there will also be numerous other projects. Director Brad Winderbaum recently confirmed as much in an interview with Variety, leaving open the door for several other unique animation styles to be included.

When pressed on whether or not any of the upcoming animations could be collaborative with Pixar and/or Disney Animation, he was quick to ensure it wasn't ruled out and is in consideration. “It’s something that we’d be open to under the right circumstances. It all depends on the project.”

Still, the director made it clear that they won't just be making animated series on a whim and that they will only be adapted into the medium if it is what it requires and works for the story and characters.

“We realized that there’s a lot of cool avenues you can explore with animation. Any project that we create is going to be something that needs to be animated in order for the story to be told. There’s very little desire to take a piece of IP that’s popular because we’re coming out with a movie and just make an animated show about it. We’re not going to do that.”

Would you guys like to see a collaboration between Marvel Studios and Pixar, or would you prefer that such a thing be separate from the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse? No matter your take, make sure you sound off with your thoughts in the usual spot!

YES! YES! YES! Have been dying to see some Marvel characters done in CGI! They have yet to touch any of their western characters! A serious hardcore action packed shoot em up starring the Rawhide Kid done in CGI would be absolutely awesome!
