Season 32 of The Simpsons is coming to Disney+ this month. Disney announced that all 22 episodes of the latest season will arrive on the streaming service on September 29 — three days after the television premiere of Season 33 on September 26.
With the arrival of the latest season, it will bring the total number of episodes for The Simpsons to 706 available on Disney+. Fans can also watch The Simpsons Movie and the Marvel- and Star Wars-inspired shorts The Good, The Bart, and The Loki and Maggie Simpsons in 'The Force Awakens From Its Nap'.
In addition to the new episodes, Disney+ subscribers can now update their profile with one of eight avatars inspired by the Simpsons characters: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Krusty The Clown, Ralph Wiggum, and Dr. Hibbert.
Originally premiering in 1989, The Simpsons became one of the most popular animated franchises, as evidenced by its historic 30-plus seasons. Despite the ratings decline in recent years, the series still remains relevant and has a dedicated fanbase. The show has been picked up for two more years, which will extend its run to 34 seasons. Season 33 is set to premiere on September 29.
Disney+ has released a special spot that highlights the 32 seasons of the show's historic run — all of which will soon be available on the service.
