After being available to rent on Disney+ for a Premium Access charge, Walt Disney Animation Studios' Raya and the Last Dragon is now available for purchase to own on digital platforms. The latest Disney feature will also release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD release on May 18.
In celebration of the movie's digital release, Disney has shared a clip of Us Again, the short that played ahead of it in theaters. Unfortunately, it was not shown ahead of Raya and the Last Dragon if you rented it on Disney+.
The clip for Us Again dances its way into our hearts as we see Art, an elderly man, find his youthfulness through some amazing song and dance. The clip cuts off before we get to meet his young-at-heart wife, Dot, but it's clear that writer and director by Zach Parrish, Big Hero 6's head of animation, cooked up a fun short with Us Again that will undoubtedly also have some emotional underlies to aging.
In addition to featuring Us Again, the digital and home release of Raya and the Last Dragon contains a bevy of features including outtakes, fun facts and easter eggs, lessons about the martial art forms and weapons used in the film, and a behind-the-scenes look of what it was like for production of Raya to take place in the homes of over 450 people during the global pandemic.
