MONSTERS AT WORK: It's Laughter They're After In The New Teaser Trailer For Pixar's Disney+ Series

This summer, we'll be returning to Monstropolis with the new Disney+ series, Monsters At Work. But a lot has changed since we last saw Mike and Sully.

At the end of Monsters Inc., it was discovered that laughter is the best form of energy and we got a brief look at the future of how Monstropolis would be powered. In Monsters At Work, Mike and Sully are now running things and it's laughter they're after. Scarers are out and jokes are in in this highly anticipated sequel series.

The new sneak peek from Disney gives us a brief glimpse of the shenanigans the former scare duo will face as the new laughter leaders. And we're also introduced to some new faces.

It seems the series will shift some of the focus away from Mike and Sully to the members of MIFT, the Monsters Inc. Facilities Team, which is tasked with maintaining the facility's operations.  Tyler Tuskman, voiced by Ben Feldman, is a Scare Major who dreams of working with Mike and Sulley. But with the company's new focus on gathering laughter from children, Tylor is shifted to MIFT where he'll work alongside colleagues voiced by Mandy Kaling, Aisha Tyler, and Henry Winkler. Billy Crystal and John Goodman are also returning to voice Mike and Sulley, respectively.

Monsters At Work is slated to premiere on Disney+ on July 2.
