Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is a sequel to 2013 live-action Disney film Maleficent. Angelina Jolie stars as the titular villainess, reprising her role from the original alongside Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora. The cast also includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Harris Dickinson, and more.
The sequel didn't go over too well critically, currently sitting at a 40% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but did go on to earn an Academy Award nomination for "Best Makeup and Hairstyling". Overall, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil earned $491 million at the box office— which is decent relative to the movie's $185 million budget.
Though the movie debuted in theatres all the way back in October and has been available digitally, on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD since January, it's not yet available on the Disney+ streaming service. However, that's about to change.
Disney has officially announced (via @DisneyPlus) that Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be coming to their streaming service next month; specifically, the live-action sequel will be available to stream on Disney+ from May 15th. Though, it seems this only applies to Disney+ in North America (United States and Canada). We will be sure to notify you once it's available.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be available to stream on Disney+ (in the US and Canada) from May 15th, 2020.
