Recently, it was revealed that a plethora of characters from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels animated series will feature in the second season of live-action Disney+ series The Mandalorian. For instance, it's said that Rosario Dawson will play Ahsoka Tano.
It was then announced that Temuera Morrison will return to the franchise in order to play Boba Fett and subsequently reported that he will also be playing Captain Rex from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. What's more, it was even more recently reported that Sasha Banks will play Star Wars Rebels character Sabine Wren in The Mandalorian Season 2 — more on that here.
Well, now /Film has broken the news that Bo-Katan will feature in the second season of the live-action series as well. For reference, that's the site that first broke the news about Ahsoka. Lady Bo-Katan Kryze featured in both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. She herself is a Mandalorian and the leader of her people in the latter animated series.
Katee Sackhoff played the character in both of the animated series and it's said that she will reprise the role in live-action for The Mandalorian. The actress is best known for starring in Battlestar Galactica and Riddick. It's said the Sackhoff has already filmed her scenes and wrapped back in February — prior to the production being halted on account of the coronavirus pandemic.
