Sequel to the massive phenomenon of a movie that was 2013's
Frozen; Disney's
Frozen 2 debuted in theatres back in November 2019 and achieved quite a few feats. Having earend $1.4 billion at the worldwide box office,
Frozen 2 stands as the second-highest grossing animated film of all time and the third highest-grossing film of 2019.
The sequel just about managed to get into the top 10 highest-grossing films of all time and even earned an Academy Award-nomination for Best Original Song — that being for "Into the Unknown". Suffice it to say,
Frozen 2 was and is a pretty big deal. That's why it's pretty siginificant that Disney have decided to push up its Disney+ release by three months (via

Originally, Frozen 2 was set to debut on the streaming service on June 26th — but no longer! Now,
Frozen 2 will be available to stream on Disney+ as soon as tomorrow (March 15th, 2020). It seems that this decision has been made in part due to the Coronavirus outbreak that has plagued the whole world since December.
“‘Frozen 2’ has captivated audiences around the world through its powerful themes of perseverance and the importance of family, messages that are incredibly relevant during this time, and we are pleased to be able to share this heartwarming story early with our Disney+ subscribers to enjoy at home on any device,” said Disney CEO Bob Chapek.
