At this point, Disney has remade so many animated classics, that it's started to move on to some of its more modern releases. We know that Lilo and Stitch is currently in production, and the Mouse House may now be looking at a movie that came out just over a decade ago.
According to a new rumor doing the rounds online, a live-action reimagining of 2009's The Princess and the Frog is in the works.
The report comes via a Disney-themed podcast, which is believed to have shared some accurate info in the past. Even so, it's best not to put too much stock in this for the time being - although it wouldn't exactly be a massive surprise.
The animated musical was a big success (critically and commercially) for Disney, so it was probably only a matter of time before they got around to a re-adaptation.

"Hard-working and ambitious, Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) dreams of one day opening the finest restaurant in New Orleans. Her dream takes a slight detour when she meets Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos), who has been turned into an amphibian by evil Dr. Facilier. Mistaking her for a princess and hoping to break the spell, Naveen plants a kiss on poor Tiana -- thereby turning her into a frog as well. The pair hop along on an adventure through the bayous to seek the help of a powerful voodoo priestess."
