Fans of DC Comics, whether in animation, print, or even video games, knows of the topsy turvy history of Young Justice. Hailed as one of the best DC animated shows since Justice League, Young Justice puts the focus on the sidekicks as they separate from their mentors and try to make a name for themselves as a team.
The first two seasons of the series aired on Cartoon Network but was sadly canceled following the cliffhanger ending of season 2. For years, the cries of fans for a season 3 were left unanswered until the announced of the DC Universe streaming service, where the third season, Young Justice: Invasion, was confirmed.
The rousing success following the show's return prompted the confirmation of a fourth season, which was revealed this past weekend during the DC Fandome: Explore the Multiverse event. Titled Young Justice: Phantoms, not much in terms of story was announced; however, there will more than likely be more updates as production continues.
While it is still unclear where the show will premiere, there is no doubt that the fourth season of the fan-favorite series is real and is happening. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new season in the comments section below!
