During their dedicated panel at the recent San Diego Comic-Con event, Marvel Studios revealed some information about their upcoming What If...? animated series — that will be coming to Disney+ next year.

Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, recently participated in an interview with Screen Rant in which he shed some more light on the project. We already knew that the series will revolve around alternate routes that the Marvel Cinematic Universe could've taken — Feige previously having mentioned that one episode will focus on if Agent Peggy Carter had become Captain America instead of Steve Rogers.

Now it has been confirmed that the first season of What If...? will feature alternate scenarios for all twenty-three movies in the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which are known as "The Infinity Saga." The aformentioned Agent Carter scenario will presumably be Captain America: The First Avenger's episode; it'll be interesting to see how the other movies will be warped.

"Right now, we’re focusing on for the first season, everything you know about the 23 movies in the Infinity Saga and adding one twist to them and seeing how everything turns out different," Feige said in an interview which you can watch below.
