Kevin Conroy has played Batman more times than anybody else. He's best known for voicing the Dark Knight in such classics as Batman: The Animated Series, the Batman: Arkham video games, and Batman Beyond. Recently, Conroy was provided the opportunity to play Bruce Wayne in live-action.

During The CW's major crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths, Conroy played a version of Bruce Wayne who had become grizzled with age and was unable to make use of his body without cybernetic assistance. Despite being an actor who usually solely makes use of his voice, Conroy's performance has earned much praise from fans.

Following this stint in live-action, a fan took to social media to ask Conroy whether he would be interested in starring in a live-action Batman Beyond series — perhaps for The CW. The actor recently stated that the would love to reprise the role of an old, seasoned Bruce Wayne in a live-action Batman Beyond series (via Comicbook.com).

Wouldn’t that be awesome? That would be so awesome. I was thinking that as I was doing this, that I’m kind of inhabiting Old Bruce Wayne from Batman Beyond. He’s not that old — Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond is like 80. He’s not that old in this but he is as limited in his ability to be physical in this. He’s not fully able-bodied. In that sense he’s like Old Bruce Wayne in Batman Beyond. And I was using the voice, actually, from Old Bruce Wayne from Batman Beyond. I was thinking, it would be great to do that. I would love it.
