UNDONE: Amazon Releases The First Teaser Trailer For Their Mind-Bending Adult Animated Series
In a surprising move, Amazon Prime Video has released the very first teaser trailer for their upcoming adult animated series Undone, which is packed with wonderfully trippy visuals. Check it out after the jump.
Later this year, Amazon Prime Video will step into the world of adult animation, with the release of a new animated show titled Undone, and now they've decided to drop the first teaser trailer for the series.
The footage doesn't reveal much about the upcoming series, but it does put the spotlight on the character Alma, as she goes on a mind-bending experience that makes her question her sanity.
This new series from Kate Purdy & Raphael Bob-Waksberg (BoJack Horseman), utilizes rotoscoping animation, which makes it the first episodic television project to use this technique. And based on the teaser, it looks like it led to some very impressive visuals.
Along with featuring Alita: Battle Angel star Rosa Salazar in the lead role, Undone also boasts a cast that includes Bob Odenkirk, Angelique Cabral, Constance Marie, Siddarth Dhananjay, and Daveed Diggs.
"Alma Winograd-Diaz (Rosa Salazar of Alita: Battle Angel) takes her mundane life one day at a time until a near fatal accident induces visions of her late-father, Jacob. Through these persistent visions he urges her to tap into a mysterious ability that allows her to travel through space and time with the hopes of preventing his untimely death. This quest challenges Alma’s relationships and brings into question her mental wellbeing with those closest to her."
