TRANSFORMERS WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY - EARTHRISE: The Release Date For The Second Season Has Been Announced

A new teaser for Transformers War For Cybertron Trilogy - Earthrise has been revealed and announces the official release date. Hit the jump to find out when to tune in!

The toy company, Hasbro, has made huge strides in its product releases in the past few years by taking some of their oldest properties and bringing them back for a new audience while using the same strategies that made them so popular before. A prime example of that has been the release of the Transformers. The War for Cybertron trilogy is a toy line that hits the fast forward button on the lore of the Transformers by releasing Siege, which chronicles the war of the Autobots and Decepticons on Cybertron. From there, fans are taken on a journey through the toys of some of the Transformers' best stories.

Before the third part of the trilogy, Kingdom, begins to release, fans have been spending time in the world of Earthrise, which covers the time that the Autobots have spent on earth. While the toys may be ahead, the brand new series releasing on Netflix is taking its time during this new era of the Transformers

The first season, which was based on Siege, released on Netflix to rave reviews, securing its second season. So far, only a new trailer has been released; however, no release date has been confirmed until recently. Thanks to a teaser found on the Netflix Twitter; it has been confirmed that Earthrise will make landfall at the beginning of December!

As the popular culture of the 80s begins to gain popularity again, who knows what will come next for the future of classic shows! We would love to hear your thoughts on the show and teaser in the comments below!

With the Allspark gone, Megatron is forced to confront the harsh reality that his Decepticons are trapped on a dying Cybertron. Meanwhile, lost in the darkest reaches of space, Optimus Prime and his team embark on a desperate mission, unexpectedly running into the spacefaring Mercenaries.

Transformers War For Cybertron Trilogy - Earthrise is coming to Netflix on December 30th!
