Lucasfilm recently dropped a brand new featurette which introduces us to a plethora of new characters. Similar to the last teaser video, the focus is a team of ace pilots who are fittingly named "The Aces".
While, previously introduced team, Fireball consists of rookies, The Aces are described as some of the newly-formed Resistance's best. You'd imagine a friendly rivalry will likely form between the two groups.

Here's the rundown of The Aces' five members:

Torra Doza; daughter of the Resistance's Captain Doza and the youngest of the group. She’s played by Myrna Velasco. Often sheltered by her overprotective father, she's in search of a new friend - when protagonist Kaz shows up. Velasco had this to say about her character and the show's lead: “They’re just two kids trying to figure out the world and I hope that audiences can really see that friendship.”

Hype Fazon is played by Donald Faison (of Scrubs fame). Fazon is the best pilot in the Aces, but it's evident that he’s only in it for the credits and the glory.

Griff Halloran, played by Stephen Stanton, is said to be the "cranky old man" of the group. Griff was a TIE pilot during the age of the Galactic Empire and still makes use of trinkets and doodads he has hanging around from back then.

Freya Fenris is played by Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. The logical and serious member of The Aces. She's the most trustworthy and loyal of the group.

Bo Keevil gets his name from real-life stuntman “Evel Knievel," he very much embodies that lifestyle. He's the risky one who's most likely to crash their ship.

Resistance fighter Poe Dameron tasks young pilot Kazuda (Kaz) Xiono with spying on the First Order. At the time, little was known about the secretive organization and its strength. In order to fulfill his mission, Kaz travels to the space station Colossus, which is being used by many ships as a port to refuel and do repairs. However, there are also dangerous races taking place there. After Kaz bragged with his piloting skills at his arrival there, he is soon drawn into one of the races…
Star Wars Resistance will barrel-roll onto Disney Channel on October 7th.
