This Is What Some 90s Cartoon Characters Look Like When All Grown Up

The cartoons from the 90s are the best, so let’s agree to that instead of starting an argument because you’re certainly going to lose. OK, with that out of the way, have you ever wondered what your favorite 90s cartoon characters would look like if they ever grew up?

In truth, we never thought about this, but gladly, someone did and, you know what? Their idea of how these characters would look when all grown up is quite interesting.

It should be noted that the designs we’re going to talk about were done by the good people at The Entertainer. Most come off as very well done, while others, well, not so much, but that’s for you to decide.

The Rugrats

Many of enjoyed The Rugrats very much and all the babies on offer. Looking at them when they’re all grown up and you’ll see that each character failed to impress. We believe this is due to the use of the outdated drawing style.

Additionally, there seem to be no improvement in their body outside of being taller.

Recess

Ah yes, the 90s cartoon of legends, Recess. Here we can see that each member of the group has changed quite a bit, but Gus is probably the biggest surprise here. He’s no longer the scrawny child who follows; he’s not a grown man with muscles and probably a leader at this point.

Dexter’s Laboratory

Our favorite smart guy, Dexter, is a man now and he’s still inventing things. Today, he’s more refined and focused since he has created a company that focuses on robotics and artificial intelligence.

He’s also quite successful because his robots are available in almost every home. Let’s hope DeeDee stays out of his way, though we doubt that’s ever going to happen.

Hey Arnold!

If we remember correctly, Arnold has always been the type of person who gives quality advice, so it shouldn’t come as no surprise to see him as a counselor.
