In November 2019, the Disney+ streaming service debuted in North America, Canada, and the Netherlands. Shortly thereafter, Disney+ came to Australia, New Zealand, and Puerto Rico. Elsewhere and everyone else could only wait patiently for the platform to reach their region.
Disney+ is a relatively new streaming service that plays host to (essentially) Disney's entire back catalogue of content — be it movies, television series, documentaries, short films, and more. What's more, Disney+ is also home to new and exclusive content such as
The Mandalorian and Disney's live-action remake of
Lady and the Tramp.
On March 24th, Disney+ will finally be making its way over to Europe — that is to say; the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland. Further expansions will come throughout 2020 — to the likes of Belgium, the Nordics, Portugal, and South America.
What with Disney+ finally coming to the United Kingdom on in just twenty days, Disney has confirmed that over 600 episodes of
The Simpsons will be available on the streaming service for British viewers. 670 episodes of the beloved animated comedy series to be precise. Check out the tweet below (via
