Ahead of the premiere of
Marvel Rising: Battle of the Bands, Marvel has released a new clip from the animated special.
The sneak peek sees Gwen Stacy, aka Ghost-Spider, struggling to prevent a large beam from falling on civilians on the ground below. She manages to hold it up just long enough for the Secret Warriors to swoop in and help save the day.
Presumably, this is after one of the mysterious attacks that forces Gwen and the Secret Warriots to work together to investigate the cause. But in doing so, Gwen faces the difficult personal task of balancing her superhero life and social life.
On the day of Gwen's Battle of the Bands competition, mysterious attacks force her and the Secret Warriors to investigate. Can they save the city and get Gwen to the concert on time?
The 22-minute animated special,
Marvel Rising: Battle of the Band, will go live on the Marvel HQ YouTube channel on Wednesday, August 28, at 4:00 p.m.
