Fans are already starting to get even more anxious about the release of Nintendo and Game Freak's upcoming
Pokémon Sword and
Pokémon Shield, which will finally become available for the Nintendo Switch on the
15th of November; just a mere week away.
Nintendo and Game Freak have done a wonderful job letting fans know about as many details as they can about
Pokémon Sword and
Pokémon Shield, including some of the elements that both versions will uniquely feature, as well as some other details regarding gameplay.
The developers have shared said information during special, and quite lengthy Nintendo Direct presentations, and today they have released a more focused overview trailer that introduces players to brand-new Pokémon unique to the Galar region, and also tells fans everything they need to know ahead of the game's release.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be set in Galar, an expansive region with many environments—idyllic countryside, contemporary cities, thick forests, and craggy, snow-covered mountains. The people and Pokémon live together in this region, and they’ve worked together to develop the industries here.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 15th of November.
