The Dragon Prince returned for its third season on Friday and to make sure everyone is all caught up, Netflix has released a recap of seasons 1 and 2.

The four-minute recap highlights just about all the important things you need to know about the animated fantasy series which follows two human princes and an elven assassin on an epic quest to bring peace to their warring lands.

Season 3 of The Dragon Prince is comprised of nine episodes and follows Callum and Rayla as they enter the magical land of Xadia to reunite Zym with his mother. In addition to the recap, Netflix has released a clip from Season 3, teasing Rayla's return home after the long journey. 





The synopsis for Season 3 of The Dragon Prince teases:

"Season 3 finds Rayla and Callum finally at the cusp of entering Xadia, while young Ezran returns home to take his place on the throne. Meanwhile, Lord Viren begins to realize the influence and power of his new ally – the mysterious Startouch elf, Aaravos. As several storylines unfold in big ways, this season will be massively epic."


The Dragon Prince Season 3 is now streaming on Netflix. It was previously revealed at San Diego Comic-Con that four more seasons of the animated show are planned alongside additional books that will deepen the lore of the series.
