If you're a Pokémon trainer and noticed a change in the Raids in your area, there's a good reason why. Niantic has released the Lake Spirits - Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie, into their game. The fourth generation Legendary Pokémon have begun to make their rounds - but they are each regional.

Uxie is currently awaiting challengers in five star Raids in the Asia-Pacific region. Azelf is holding it down for the Americas and Greenland. Mesprit, meanwhile is getting started in Africa, Europe, Middle East, and India. Each Pokémon is in charge of a five star raid, but Azelf is the easiest to challenge of the three, with a strong enough team able to duo the creature.

These Pokémon will be changing at some point, though we don't know when yet, so be sure to capture whoever your region's first Lake Spirit it before it's too late!

What are your thoughts on Niantic's decision to introduce the Legendary Lake Spirits of Generation IV this way? Let us know below!
