Teen Titans Go! to the Movies is rated as one of the best films that are currently at the box office, and rightfully so. Still, the movie only managed to launch at 5th place on the American box office, which is decent enough.
Now, for us folks who’ve watched the movie (review coming soon), clearly, there was some excitement, if even just in our minds after watching the end credits. Yes, studios are still doing the end credit scene thing these days.
After the credits went by, the movie showcased what appears to be a shaky footage of the original Teen Titans. Bear in mind this has nothing to do with Teen Titans Go, but instead, the series before that was a huge hit on Cartoon Network back in the golden days.
“This is the Teen Titans. Can anyone hear us?” says our main man Robin, right after the video stabilizes and all five members of the Titans are shown. “We think we’ve found a way back.”
Take from that what you will, but it appears as if Warner Bros. is teasing the return of the old Teen Titans in one way or the other. If that is indeed the case, then fans should get excited because much fun is dead ahead.
DC Universe streaming platform over Cartoon Network
If there’s really a plan to reboot Teen Titans, we doubt Warner Bros. would air it on Cartoon Network at first. The company knows of the popularity of the original Teen Titans, therefore, it would make sense to launch it on its DC Universe streaming platform to help garner more subscribers.
We can see no reason why Warner Bros. would want to have two different versions of Teen Titans on Cartoon Network, so with that in mind, we’re almost 100 percent this potential new show would skip the network for streaming.
