The Emmy Award nominations were announced yesterday, one of which was for popular animated superhero series Teen Titans GO!

The irreverent cartoon, which is set to make its cinematic debut within the coming weeks, has received a nomination for "Outstanding Short Form Animated Program".

This particular category was completely stolen by Cartoon Network with Teen Titans Go!' network-siblings - Adventure Time, Robot Chicken, Steven Universe, and We Bare Bears - all being nominated.

This also marks the second consecutive year that Teen Titans Go! has been nominated - though it unfortunately lost to Adventure Time last year.
