Ahead of its debut next week, Peacock has shared the official trailer for Supernatural Academy. The upcoming animated series, which will premiere on the streaming service on January 20, is based on the bes-selling book series of the same name by Jaymin Eve.

The trailer is only 30 seconds in length, giving us just a snippet of what to expect from the urban fantasy series, but it feels like the Peacock series will dial back some of the adult tones of the novels.

Supernatural Academy chronicles the otherworldly adventures of sisters marked at birth. Jessa Lebron is a popular and confident Wolf Shifter in her junior year at Supernatural Academy, a school for supernatural beings like werewolves, magic users, vampires and fey. Meanwhile, Mischa Jackson/Lebron is more of an offbeat outsider, raised by a single mom in the human world.

As the trailer shows, the two sisters meet for the first time at Supernatural Academy, where Mischa learns that she, too, is a werewolf. The twins will have to learn to overcome their differences and work together to save themselves and the world.

Supernatural Academy stars Larissa Dias (Supernatural) and Gigi Saul Guerro (Marvel Super Hero Adventures) as Jessa Lebron and Mischa Jackson/Lebron, respectively. The series also features Vincent Tong (Ninjango) as Maximus, Cardi Wong (Are you Afraid of the Dark?) as Braxton, Shannon Chan-Kent (You) as Elda Kristov, Bethan Brown (Charmed) as Terra, Barbara Kottmeier (Supernatural) as Lienda Jackson/Lebron, and Ali J Eisner (Fraggle Rock) as Jae.
